Photopainting specs

The series of photopaintings in this gallery could be printed on canvas. The average sizes are 51cm x 76cm or 51cm x 51cm. The average digital image size is between 12 to 16 megapixels. Some are slightly smaller because of croppings.

These paintings are conceptualised and created by Mother Nature. They are inhuman in a sense. They exist for a brief moment in the water and have to be captured by a camera before they are gone forever.

Post processing was done mainly to enhance the colour, contrast and sharpness and removal of little unwanted specks. No Photoshop editing in the form of cut and paste was done to create these images. There is no violation to the integrity of the photographic images. They are Mother Nature's creation, crafted by the hands of Nature, or the paintings of 'gods' .神画. I am only the photographer or the painter's assistant. Nature is the master painter.

This is a NEW art form, a fusion of photography and painting, or photo painting, that I have created. I called it The Art of RAR, for Reflection and Refraction.
